A Night Out on the Town

A Night Out on the Town

Are you in need of some alone time with your partner or spouse? When you think of a night out on the town, where does your mind immediately go? Most likely to a big city, right? However, why waste time traveling an hour or more for fun and excitement when all you really have to do is explore the magnitude of options in your own backyard?

Yes, we’re talking about a night out in Downtown Bellefontaine!

Celebrating an anniversary? Maybe a birthday, work promotion, or you just want to rekindle a spark on a Saturday night? You don’t need a specific reason to get out of the house. The best part? Your entire itinerary has already been planned out for you. Enjoy!

Morning:

Eager to spend the whole day with your love? Start in the morning with breakfast at Sweet Aromas Coffee (isn’t the name appropriate for today?). Choose from cold drinks, hot drinks, and a full list of bakery items, including scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and more!

Consider ordering a few extra pastries for breakfast in the morning. Or, if you prefer homemade donuts, stop by City Sweets & Creamery (we seem to have a theme going on here!) and order an assortment of treats to go.

Next up, massages! One of the best and most effective ways to relax and release tension and negative energy is through a full body massage. At Peak Performance Holistic Health Center, you’ll feel completely comfortable and at ease as the knots are worked out of your body.

Noon:

Ready for lunch? Head on over to Flying Pepper Cantina to lavish authentic Mexican cuisine on the patio. This is where you’ll find the best margaritas in town, as well as homemade guacamole and just about any kind of taco you can imagine.

Interested in buying a new outfit for the evening? Rustic Boutique offers clothes for both men and women, with new selections arriving frequently!

Night:

Now the magic begins! Your night out will unfold at Bella Vino Events & Wine Room, as you and your significant other get cozy over a glass of wine. This beautiful venue is known for hosting live music, comedy shows, and private parties. The ambiance will have you forgetting that you’re still in Downtown Bellefontaine.

It’s time for dinner at The Syndicate. The only trouble you’ll have with this mouth-watering menu is choosing one entree. We highly recommend the Filet Medallions with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. And, of course, you must save room for the Bread Pudding of the Day.

After dinner, you’re strolling over to attend a show at The Holland Theatre. Logan County’s Landmark Theatre, The Holland was built in 1931 and is the only Dutch-style atmospheric theatre in the United States today. Throughout the years, myriad acts have taken the stage, always resulting in a fabulous night to remember.

Ready for a nightcap? You can walk over to Brewfontaine for one last craft beer or glass of wine, before turning in and calling it a night. Yet, there’s one final surprise: You’re not going home just yet . . . You’re staying at the Loft Above, a luxury, two-bedroom Airbnb, which happens to be right above Native Coffee Co.! So, we know where you’ll be getting your caffeine fix in the morning.

We hope you had a fun-filled night out on the town without even leaving your town! Remember, if you look hard enough, you can find adventure and good times just about anywhere. Please note: It’s important to make reservations at each spot and check entertainment schedules at all venues in advance.
