Jailyn Leeper, 19 yrs old is a 2024 honors graduate of Riverside HS and in her Freshman year at Ohio Northern University studying Forensic Science. Jailyn had been experiencing pain in her legs and severe bruising in addition to headaches. Her mother, Tina, took her to MRH ER on Friday, April 18th. After a significant amount of bloodwork, this young lady & her families world was turned upside down. Jailyn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Jailyn was transferred and admitted to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus. Monday, April 21st, Jailyn endured a spinal tap, bone marrow biopsy and the implant of her chemo port. Chemotherapy began Tuesday. Jailyn will be subjected to chemotherapy for the next two weeks. Going forward, Jailyn’s treatment plan will include two years of chemotherapy as well as bone marrow and spinal taps twice monthly. Please help us to ease this families financial burden, and lift them in love and prayers.
